Dolores “Dee” Roderick, 81, of New Buffalo, Michigan died Tuesday afternoon, November 3, 2009. Mrs. Roderick was born June 2, 1928 in Michigan City, Indiana to Harold and Georgianna (Nemecek) Guhl. She grew up in New Buffalo and attended New Buffalo High School.
On June 15, 1963 she married Rodney Roderick. Mrs. Roderick worked for many years at the Czech Villa Restaurant and also at Skips Restaurant. She was a member of the Edward C. Sexton American Legion Post 169 Women’s Auxiliary, New Buffalo and the VFW Post 9423 Auxiliary, Rolling Prairie, Indiana.
Survivors include her husband, Rod; aunts, Gladys Guhl and Marjorie Dalrymple of Galien, Michigan; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
