Dolores Rita Carrillo, born December 11, 1936 in Walsenburg, CO passed away October 30, 2021. She is survived by her husband Pete Carrillo and children Victor, Lorraine (Tavo), Liz, Jeannie (Manuel), Pete (Diane) and Destiny (Mario), daughter-in-law Jill Carrillo, two sisters, one brother, 20 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Emily Perez, children Danny and Michael, grandchildren Steven, Danny Jr. and Alia, daughter-in-law, Inez, three brothers and two sisters. Dolores married her husband Pete at the age of 16 in October of 1952 in New Mexico. They celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary this October. She enjoyed many things but her absolute favorite was having her family around and she also loved watching Erin Brockovich. Dolores had many traditions as a young woman that she passed on to her children and grandchildren, one of them being her brown paper bags filled with goodies every Christmas. Dolores will be forever loved and missed
