Dolores Marie (Biello) Simmons, age 89, died Fri. Oct. 30, 2020, at Phoebe Richland Healthcare Center, Richlandtown. Born Sept. 3, 1931, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Emilio and Frances (Roselli) Biello. Dolores graduated from Dobbins High School where she was a home economics major. She was a Former member of the Red Hat Society. She was also a Volunteer at the Gloria Dei Towers. Dolores was a long term resident of Philadelphia. She was known for being a very outspoken, Sassy and loving woman. She was known in her neighborhood as the woman that stole the ice cream truck and handed out Ice cream to the local children. Also a Tic Tok Famous Grammy where she had over 5 million views on her videos. Dolores was a former seamstress and spent many of her days working hard to raise her children. Dolores is survived by: daughter Stephanie Lemma; son Stanford Simmons (Debbie); grandchildren Angelo Lemma, Talia Lemma, John Lucas (Kewanna), Stan Simmons, Christie Simmons, and Stephen Simmons, ; 24 beloved great-grandchildren; Sister “Jean” Hill (Charlotte and George Kurtas). Loving Niece Debra Gillenwaters and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: daughter Karen Simmons; son Michael Simmons; and several siblings. All are invited to join Dolores’ family for a public viewing from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Fri. Nov.
