Dolores L. (Dee) Rustic
Dee was known for her infectious, unique laugh and her bright, easy smile. To her many friends, she was ‘Sunshine’ or ‘Bubbles’. She had been a Nurse Practitioner in Michigan and in Florida, after graduating from the University of Michigan (BSN) and earning her MSN from Michigan State University. She was awarded the Excellence in Nursing award from Saginaw Valley State University, and was a member of the Michigan Nurses Association Advisory Council. She was an educator and practitioner for many years. She moved to Viera, Florida in 2006, and was active in the Viera Women’s Association, Viera East Ladies Golf Association, Rolling Readers, and in many social activities at Heritage Isle. Vivacious and active, she loved playing golf (hitting a hole-in-one in June, 2009), playing bingo and cards, and making glass jewelry, often searching for sea glass with friends and crafting custom pieces at home.
