Dolores kindl was born on September 13th, 1932 and passed away on Monday, September 10th, three days before her 86th birthday.
She was born in Brooklyn, New York to her parents, Nicholas and Zaira Pellechia. She had three brothers, Fred, Raymond, and Herbie Pellechia, and one sister, Gloria Sucher, along with numerous nieces and nephews that she loved very much.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick Andrew Kindl. They were happily married for 38 years.
She is survived by her only daughter, Karen Proferes, Karen’s husband John, along with two grandchildren, Jonathan Frederick Proferes, and Lorelle Dee Proferes, and a great grandchild, Dominic John proferes.
Dee Moved to Cocoa Beach from Las Cruses, New Mexico in 1966 with her husband Fred who was working for the Apollo Program.
Dee and her husband Freddy loved music. Fred was a professional drummer for many years before joining Kennedy Space Center to work for the Apollo program.
Dee and Freddy were also Porsche enthusiasts. Both were very active in the Porsche club of America. Dee held the title of president of the Space Coast Region for 2 years.
In addition to her love for art, music, and Porsches, she enjoyed reading, the beach, card games (poker), and horse racing.
Dee was also a member of the Elks lodge in Cocoa Beach, where she met many new friends.
Dee was fun loving, compassionate and always putting the needs of others before herself. She touched so many hearts through her lifetime and will be so dearly missed. One of a kind!
