Dolores Garcia Lerma, 95, of Wilder, died on Saturday, October 23, 2010, at the Caldwell Hospital of natural causes.

Dolores was born November 13, 1914, in Rio Grande, Texas to Sylvestre and Juanita Garcia.  She married Camilo Lerma in Alamo, Texas, on February 19, 1947.  

Dolores and Camilo moved to Homedale in 1954.  They worked for Joe Eiguren.  In 1958 they moved to Wilder, where they made their home until they both entered into rest.

Dolores worked in various jobs including the West Valley Hospital, the Wilder Labor Camp, and the Wilder Housing Authority, from where she retired.

Dolores loved gardening, gambling and traveling.

She was proceeded in death by her husband of 46 years; one son, Camilo; brothers: Rodrigo Garcia, Teodoso Garcia, Natividad Garcia; Sisters:  Agueda Garcia, Felipa Garcia, Luisa Gonzalez; and her son-in-law, Lorenzo Villarreal.

She is survived by one son, Ruben Lerma (Wilder); two daughters, Belinda Almeida (Wilder) and Anita Villarreal (Austin, Texas).  Grandchildren: Linda Jackson (Austin, Texas), Christina Villarreal (Austin, Texas), Roberto Villarreal (Melissa)( Austin, Texas), Monica Almeida (Austin, Texas) and Jessica Almeida (Wilder).  Various grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Also surviving her are several beloved nieces and nephews from Oregon and Texas.
