Dolores E. (Brown) Payne, age 91, of Richland Township passed away January 4, 2021. She was born March 3, 1929 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, daughter of the late Orland J. Brown and Maybelle (Voss) Brown.
Dolores retired from J.C. Penney with 30 years of service. Dolores was a member of Oak Grove Bible Church, Parchment Garden Club, and Red Hat Society.
She was united in marriage to Arthur Payne on September 17, 1955, who preceded her in death after 53 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Ed Goldner, and great-grandson, Sawyer Baliff.
Dolores is survived by her five children: Jan (Jim) Ellis of Tennessee, Faye Goldner of Kalamazoo, Judy (Greg) Sprout of Lansing, Ron (Barb) Payne of Comstock, and Rich (Pam) Payne of Chicago, IL; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
