Dolores (Essl) Deisbeck, 88, of Peru, passed away Sunday morning, January 27, 2019, at IVCH, Peru surrounded by her family. Mrs. Deisbeck was born on February 28, 1930, in LaSalle to Joseph and Mary (Hoover) Essl.
She married Charles Deisbeck on November 24, 1949, at St. Joseph’s Church, LaSalle. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Peru, Altar and Rosary Society, and was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and Meals on Wheels.
She is survived by her children, Cindy VanCleave, Jill (Allan) Delphi, John (Linda) Deisbeck, Jane Deisbeck all of Peru, and Chuck (Ellen) Deisbeck of North Liberty, IA; 12 grandchildren, Adam and Kyle VanCleave, Rick, Tim, and Kevin Delphi, Eric and Jake Deisbeck, Nikki Freeman, Alexandra, Jordan, Megan, and Kaylee Deisbeck; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Rita Quesse and Shirley Nelson; and two brothers, George and William Essl.
