Dolores C. Robertson, 87, went to her Heavenly Mansion, on May 15, 2016, to be with her Lord and Savior and her beloved husband James “J.D.” (2009).
Dolores was born July 9, 1928, in Broxton, GA., to Rufus and Della Griffin (Clemons). She had the Protestant faith. Dolores’ faith in God was always strong and knowing that faith was evident just being around her. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked very hard beside James in their sawmill business for many years. Leaving behind to cherish Dolores’ memories are daughter Wanda (Ernest) Nichols of Crawfordville; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother; and one sister.
She is predeceased by her parents; her husband James, truly the love of her life of 64 1/2 years.; oldest daughter, Sherry Griffin; sisters, Madeline Whaley and Shelvey Calhoun.
