Dolores C. Listro, 84, formerly of Orange, died on Nov. 18, 2017. She was born in Hartford on Sept. 12, 1933, daughter of the late Salvatore and Ann Russell Listro. Dolores received her music degree from Skidmore College and taught several years in the Orange and Milford public school system. She later entered the health care profession working as an LPN at Milford Hospital and also in private duty. In the early 90’s she moved to California where she worked in private practice and truly enjoyed her time in Temecula, CA. before returning to the New Haven area. She is survived by a son Allen E. (Gail) Cable, Jr.. , a daughter Ann Cable, granddaughters Christine Dion, Joeline Carangelo and Angela Cable, great-granddaughters Gabriella and Aubrey Dion.
