Dolores Bruno (nee DeGenaro) was 85 when she passed away January 3rd. Born on November 26, 1929 in Union City, NJ. Dolores was raised in Hasbrouck Heights where she went on to graduate from Hasbrouck Heights High School. After marrying her loving husband George Bruno Jr. in 1951, the couple moved to Hackensack before settling in New Milford 50 years ago. Dolores was a homemaker most of her life. After raising her children, she worked for Myron Manufacturing in Maywood before retiring. Dolores was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the New Milford-Teaneck Elks, the New Milford Senior Citizens Club, and was a volunteer in the New Milford Public School system. Dolores is the daughter of the late Frank and Emma DeGenaro. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, George Bruno Jr., a son George Bruno III and his wife Mary and a daughter Danielle Bell and her husband Steven. Dolores was predeceased by her brother Dr. Frank DeGenaro and leaves a sister in law Katherine DeGenaro. She is the cherished grandmother of Michael Bruno, Jenna Bruno, Lauren Bell, and Ryan Bell.
