Dolores Broughton Robinson Dolores Broughton Robinson, age 87, of Ridgefield, Connecticut, died peacefully on August 26, 2013. Mrs. Robinson was born September 25, 1925 in Buffalo, NY, the beloved daughter of the late Norbert and Lavinia Broughton. She was raised and educated in Washington, D.C. where she was a graduate of the University of the District of Columbia, where she excelled, and attained supplementary certificates of continuing education from Bank Street College of Education and other institutions. Dolores served as the Ridgefield Community Kindergarten’s teacher and director for more than 35 years from the school’s founding as a private institution in 1959.
