Dolores A. Zionce (nee Skunda) of Burlington NJ passed away on Wednesday, April 3rd following a brave fight with a long illness.

She was born in Luzerne, Pa., and moved to Kingston, Pa., where she graduated from high school.

She worked for Social Security until she married in 1968 and moved with her husband to New Jersey. She then began working for the State of New Jersey until she resigned to be a full-time mother following the arrival of their daughter. She enjoyed ceramics and going to dinner with friends. His vacations included going to the Jersey Shore, namely Ocean City and Atlantic City for the casinos. She and her husband Stanley frequently went to the bowling alley where he was a league member. Dolores was a longtime member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish where she attended Mass every Sunday.

Daughter of the late Albert and Lottie (Rebarchik) Skunda, she is survived by her devoted husband Stanley of 44 years of marriage, her loving daughter Laura, and her three grandchildren; Alyssa, Joseph, and Madison who were the light of her life. She also leaves behind many family members and friends whose love and support remained strong right until the end.
