DURHAM- Mrs. Dollie Estelle Partin Holder, 84, passed away peacefully at home Sunday October 21, 2018.
Mrs. Holder was born to Willie and Rushie Partin on June 6, 1934 in Chatham County. She was a member of the Oak Grove Ruritan Club and was Valedictorian of her class. She was an excellent cook and homemaker, and loved to garden. Mrs. Holder was a member of Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.
Mrs. Holder is preceded in death by her husband, Rex Arnold Holder; parents, Willie and Rushie Partin; brothers, Herman Partin and Danny Partin; sisters, Hazel Boone, Faye McKee, Elsie Fowler.
Mrs. Holder is survived by sons, Johnny T. Holder (Sherry), Steve A. Holder (Gail), Barry L. Holder (Trudy); daughters, Janet K. Aycock (Randy), Vickie E. Chisholm (Bruce), Lori A. Jones (Ricky); brother, Fred Partin (Rita); her 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
