Dock M. Phillips, age 87, a native of Silas, Alabama and a resident of Eight Mile, Alabama, died on Monday November 12, 2018 at his residence.
He is preceded in death by his wife Euna Phillips; his parents Denton and Mary Taylor Phillips; his brothers Marvin Phillips, Charlie Phillips, Melvin Phillips, and Wilburn Phillips; his sisters Maebell Broadhead, and Virgalee Abston; and his great grandson Luke Phillips.
He is survived by his brother Willie (Naomi) Phillips; his son Ron (Michelle) Phillips; his daughter Debra (Tim) Stewart; eight grandchildren Michael (June) Phillips, Gray (Brianna) Crenshaw, Chris (Hilary) Phillips, Andrea (David) Brannan, Josh (Stephanie) Reaves, Rachel (Stephen) Shumock, Jessica (Robert) Chunn, and Hannah Stewart; seventeen great-grandchildren Toler (Sarah) Phillips, Leah (Blake) Willams, Jacob Cottingham, Jordan (Tori) Cottingham, Lorelei Crenshaw, Kaleb Phillips, Rylee Phillips, Austin Day, Alyssa Trehern, Hunter Day, Cayden Day, Zane Brannan, Courtney Braswell, Aydan Reaves, Dylan Reaves, Chloe Shumock, and Madalyn Chunn; and three great great-grandchildren Emily Phillips, Bronner Willams, Kase Cottingham; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
