Diego Amadeo Garza was born to Amadeo and Maria Garza on May 1, 1942 in McAllen, Texas. His family moved to Michigan around 1947. He met his wife, Levorida Ramos, and they were married December 23, 1961.
The following year they had their first son, Diego Jr. and 4 years later had Jesse. Diego Sr. retired from General Motors after many years of service. He was a faithful server for the Lord and took on many responsibilities at the Upper Room, cleaning, waxing floors, making programs for many different services, and ran the barbecues for fundraisers. Diego loved hot rods and tools (of which he has many) and tinkering around the house and yard.
Diego was preceded in death by his parents, Amadeo and Maria Garza, his sisters Juanita Compos, Margarita Garcia, and Carmen Pratt.
He is survived by his wife Levorida (Ramos) Garza, his 2 sons, Diego Jr. (Virginia) and Jesse Garza, his brothers Louis (Lupe) and Robert (Gloria) Garza, his sister Rosa (Earl) Neville, many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
