at Union Hospital of Terre Haute. He was born in Clinton
to Delbert Sykes and Violet Smith Sykes on June 9, 1947.
He was a barber and retired from Eli Lilly as a Chemical
Operator, and he was a member of the State Line Christian
He was preceded in death by his Father; Delbert Sykes.
He is survived by his Wife; Anna Groves Sykes of
Clinton. Two Sons; Brent & (Pattie) Sykes of Terre Haute,
and Kelby & (Rhonda) Sykes of Clinton. His Mother;
Violet Sykes of Terre Haute, A Brother; Jim & (Sarah)
Sykes of Terre Haute, and a Sister; Nancy & (Jim) Albin
of Terre Haute. Five Grandchildren; Anthony, Chad,
Amber, Freddy, and Madison. Four Great-Grandaughters;
Faith, Alivia, Aaliyah, and Autumn. Also serveral Nieces,
Nephews, and close friends.
Home from 4-8:00pm.
