Dianne Christine Welch, 65, of Cairo, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021. She was born September 26, 1955, to William and Betty (Sebaugh) Dubuque in St. Louis, Missouri.

Dianne married James Leonard Welch at Alpine Park & Gardens, Columbia, MO, on May 19, 2001. She was a mother to two biological children; Jeramie (Deborah) Lorson, and Aimee (Ronald) Lorson-Castro. She became a stepmother to six. Dianne made friends wherever she went. She was a brilliant baker, seamstress, and family member.

She graduated from Salina High School Central, on May 21, 1973, from there she started her working career at General Battery in Salina, Kansas until she moved to Ohio with her two children. Dianne worked a long life of consumer retail throughout her many years of life. She traveled throughout many states and loved to explore.

Dianne is survived by her husband, James of the home; her biological children, Jeramie and Aimee Lorson of Montgomery City, MO; her step-children  Lisa Kay of Moberly, Jimmy McCalpin of Higbee, Ricky Welch of Phoenix, AZ, Gregg McCalpin of Moberly, Jodi McCalpin of Athol, Massachusetts, and Rod Burks of Florida; her grandchildren William and Darlene Lorson of Montgomery City, MO, Alexus Welch of the home; her brother Bruce Dubuque of California, a sister-in-law Allene (David) Nelson of Hannibal, MO, an uncle Jim Seabaugh of Rhode Island; an aunt Mary Chick of Columbia, MO; nieces, nephews, and a large group of friends and acquaintances.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an aunt Jenny McCain.
