Dianne J. (Wallace) Papenbrock, 78, of Muncie, formerly of Churubusco passed Saturday, June 5, 2021, at her residence.
She was born December 20, 1942, in Muncie to the late William and Marcile D. (Kiefer) Wallace.
In November 1982, she married Thomas E. Papenbrock. He preceded her in death on April 30, 2013.
Dianne worked at Kraft foods for many years, she retired in 1996. She was a member of the Churubusco VFW, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Columbia City Eagles.
Her hobbies included bingo and crocheting. She loved her dogs. She was proudly called grandma by too many to count and is loved by all.
Dianne is survived by her daughter, Robin (Everett) Shonk; son, Ron Bratten; twenty-four grandchildren, Heidi (Matt) Wortley, Cayla (Ryan) Lafollette), Nikki (Sam) Bohnke, Austin Bratten, Jennifer Fisher, Matthew Brown, Brandon Brown, Miranda Bratten, Ryan Bratten, Marissa Bratten, Tyler Bratten, Scott Cochran, Ashley Bratten, Tasha Bratten, Shanelle Byrer, Cassie Bratten and Anthony Bratten; thirty-one great-grandchildren; one brother, William Wallace; two step-sons, Tommy (Tina) Papenbrock and Jon (Jennifer) Hamming.
She is preceded in death by three sons, Anthony , David Bratten, and Christopher Bratten; one step-son, Robert Papenbrock; two brothers, Terry Wallace and Dennis Harden; and a sister, Susan Sells.
