Dianne Call
Dianne Floyd Call, surrounded by her family, peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on March 7, 2012 after an extended battle with multiple health problems, including pulmonary hypertension. She faced her challenges with determination, strength, and courage and was an inspiration to those who knew her.
Dianne was born Dec. 20, 1941 in Berkeley, Calif., to J. Whitney and Virginia Payne Floyd. She was raised in Providence, Utah and graduated from south Cache High School.
She met her future husband, Dee W. Call while working for Steed’s Dairy Barn as a junior in High School. They became reacquainted as college students at Utah State University. They were married on Nov. 2, 1962 in the Logan, LDS Temple. They raised their six children in Star Valley. Her life was centered on teaching and loving her family. She lived for them, taught them to do their best in all they did, and was their biggest fan.
She worked for years with Dee and the children in their ready mix and lumber yard where her family learned hard work and financial responsibly.
