Details: Diann M. Andrews, 72, a 5 ½ year resident of Millersville and formerly of Burtonsville died on August 1, 2014 at her residence. She was born on January 22, 1942 in Chicago, IL to the late John F. and Anna Beam. Mrs. Andrews graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1960. She was a homemaker until the early 1970’s when she began working in retail jewelry sales. In 2009 Mrs. Andrews began working for Grunley Construction and remained with that company until her retirement in 2011. She was a member of Lake Shore Baptist Church and the Ladies of the Moose in Glen Burnie. Mrs. Andrews was an avid online shopper with QVC and HSN. She enjoyed family trips and gathers as well as camping. In addition to her parents Mrs. Andrews is preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Samuel J. Andrews, her son Richard M. Sewell, her sisters Pat Basil and Gerrie Gracie. She is survived by her son Hiram “Joey” Sewell, Jr. of VA, her daughter Sherry M. Bertrand of Linthicum, her step-children; Richard D. Andrews of Severn, William Andrews of WV, Robert Andrews of Severn, and Katrina Hines of Glen Burnie, her sister Dawn McGinniss of Millersville, her grandchildren; Daniel Wheeler of Glen Burnie, Joshua Sewell of PA, Ashleigh Bertrand of Linthicum, Sean Bertrand of Linthicum, and Amanda Sewell of Pasadena, and 8 great grandchildren.
