Diane W. Young, age 63, born Sept. 18, 1950, a native of Brewton, AL and a resident of Eight Mile, passed away on Jan. 13, 2014. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. She is preceded in death by parents, Willie M. and Hazel B. Williamson. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Tommy Young; one son, Stephen C. (Mary) Young; one daughter, Brooke (Chris) Young; two sisters, Carolyn (Ben) Jackson and Barbara (Mike) Bailey; one brother, Greg (Ronda) Williamson; five grandchildren who were the light of her life, Thomas, Lauren, Paxton, Genesis, and Stephen Christopher, Jr.; a very loved and special friend, Martha Clay LaForce; numerous loved nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family would like to give a special thanks to Gentiva Hospice for the love and care they extended during this time.
