Diane Trenary, age 65 of Humboldt, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge. Diane Marie Trenary, the daughter of Eilert and Genevieve Doris (Dewinter) Sampson was born on August 4, 1954 in Humboldt, Iowa. She graduated from Humboldt High School in 1972. On July 16, 1972, Diane was united in marriage with Randy Trenary at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Humboldt. Diane worked for Gayle’s bookkeeping as a part time bookkeeper. Diane loved her family. Her grandchildren were her whole world. Randy and Diane would attend every activity they could. She loved to travel, go camping with her family, play games with her grandchildren, scrap booking and talking on the phone where she had the knack of making a short conversation long. Playing piano for the children’s music at church was the highlight of her week. Left to cherish Diane’s memory is her husband of 47 years, Randy of Humboldt; daughters, Cindy (Dale) Kirby of Bondurant and Alecia (Jeremy) Tinken of Rutland; grandchildren, Cody Boge (Eileen Brydges) of Colorado Springs, CO, Samantha Kirby of Des Moines, Sierra Boge-Kirby of Bondurant, Lylah and Fiona Tinken of Rutland; two great grandchildren; brother, David (Lois) Sampson of Humboldt and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Doris & Eilert Sampson; sister-in-law, Mary Sampson; son-in-law, J.R. Boge and mother and father-in-law, Birdena & Robert Trenary.
