Diane Taylor

Diane Friese Cook Taylor passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 peacefully, surrounded by her family. She was born on January 12, 1934 to Robert (Bert) and Harminia (Minnie) Alberts Friese. She graduated from Ogden High School. She worked as an executive secretary for 30+ years at Weber State University. She married Thomas Cook on August 21, 1954 and together they had three sons who meant the world to her. She was married to him for 36 years. Later, she met the love of her life, Norris Taylor, and married him on May 3, 2002 in Ogden, UT. Together, they traveled and truly enjoyed being with each other.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and The Red Hat Society. She enjoyed decorating, Genealogy, antiques, and shopping!!

She is survived by her husband, Norris, her children; Tracy Walton (Wendy) Cook, Kyle Alberts (Kelly) Cook, and Thomas Gavin (Monica) Cook; 7 grandchildren; Jake, Chloe, Kord, Kade, Desiree, Ethan, and Isabelle; her 2 brothers; Robert Henry (Bob) and David Alberts Friese, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Colleen Friese Paul.
