Barbara Diane Savage, 68, of Three Oaks, Michigan died Wednesday morning, October 15, 2008 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph, Michigan. Diane was born October 22, 1939 in Coloma, Michigan to Norman and Hattie Barbara (Carter) Carrothers.
On June 10, 1977 she married David Savage in Las Vegas, Nevada and made Three Oaks her home. Diane was an educator and taught at the New Buffalo Public Schools beginning in 1958 and retiring in 2003. She was a member of the Michigan Teachers Association. Diane enjoyed genealogy research, history, reading, going to lunch and the movies with friends, traveling, and especially spending time with her granddaughter.
Survivors include her children, Thomas Savage of Three Oaks, Andrea Savage of Raleigh, NC, and Tysha Savage of New Buffalo, Michigan and her granddaughter, Ambriyana Braden. She was preceded in death by her husband, David on October 22, 1993.
