called to be an angel in heaven on August 14, 2022.

Diane was an incredible musician and singer and loved singing the blues. She could even reach octaves high enough to break glass.

Diane was also an unbelievably talented artist with pencil, paint and a Sharpie. Known as the

Gypsy Queen, Aunt Diane, and Mom.

She loved to laugh, found the positive in everything and could light up a room with her beautiful spirit and infectious smile. Diane loved her family, friends and making her notorious green food. She was always ready to support anyone with a kind word, crazy joke or her last dime when needed and could decorate a cardboard box to look like the Taj Mahal.

Diane leaves behind her beloved daughter April and son-n-law (Matthew) Patton; her sisters Beverly Hales and Gerri Miller; her brother David Miller; her niece Heidi Hales-Walker; and a list of other cherished family members and friends too large to write here. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Marshall and Ruth Cecil; her niece Dana Hales; and her brother-in-law Donnie Hales.

She would want you to celebrate life and not mourn her passing. Diane always reminded us, don’t worry, be happy and in the end, love wins.
