Diane Filburn Ormerod, of Crestwood, Kentucky passed away to our heavenly Father on December 6, 2021.
Preceded in death by her father, the late Francis Gary Filburn, Diane is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Marvin; her daughters, Melanie, Cristel Domizio (Jason), and Caitie Winn (Jimmy); granddaughters, Cassie and Ellie; mother, Elizabeth (Betty) Jean Hardy Filburn; siblings, Denise Bauer (Chuck), Jean VHagh (Mehrdad), Mark Filburn (Linda), Greg Filburn (Chris); nieces and nephews, Joey Bauer (Heather), Jake, Cooper, Jeremy Bauer (Nicole), Sam, Zoe, Joseph VHagh (Jen), Aria, Ethan, Liam, Andrew VHagh (Sam), Jackson, Elenore, John VHagh (Nicole), Morgan Benham (Jeremy), Peyton, Colton, Tiffany Decker(Bobby) and Robert.
Diane and her twin sister, Denise, were born in Louisville, Kentucky on March 5, 1955, to the late Francis Gary Filburn and Elizabeth (Betty) Jean Hardy Filburn. Diane was a graduate of University of Louisville and also received a Certificate in Public Management from Indiana University.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the entire staff at Norton Hospital, especially Dr. Don Stevens, for their loving and compassionate care throughout Diane’s illness.
