Diane Surgalis Russo, age 65, of lifelong resident of Milford passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2011 in Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven. Born on November 12, 1945 in Milford, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Taurick Surgalis. Prior to her retirement, Diane was a secretary for the former Wayside Furniture of Milford.
She is survived by her cherished children, daughter Laurie A. Sheehan (Michael) of Milford and son Patrick A. Russo, Jr. (Susan) of New Prague, MN, four sisters, Judith E. Inclima (Alphonse) of Orange, Lorraine Harrison (Lee) of Monroe, Dolores Hopper (Daniel) of Columbus, OH and Donna Pomes (Frank) of Orange, grandchildren, Christopher and Julia Silvestri and Emily and Rachel Russo. Also brothers – in – law, James B. Stewart and John D. Ferguson and numerous nieces and nephews. Diane was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Anne Ferguson, Nancy Stewart and her former husband Patrick A. Russo, Sr.
