Diane M. Halter, 65, of Bruceville, IN, passed away Sunday December 26, 2021 at 3:00 AM at the Lodge of the Wabash with her family at her bedside.
Diane was born November 25, 1956 in Vincennes the daughter of John H. and Juanita Gremore Spitts. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School and on October 12, 1981 she married Charles R. Halter and they made their life together for over 40 years. She worked for over 27 years at Walgreens then she worked for over 12 years at Rural King as a cashier. She practiced her faith in her daily experiences with everyone she met. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and she loved her cats.
She is survived by her husband, Charles R. “Charlie” Halter, their daughters, Amy Halter of Vincennes and Megan Forsythe of Vincennes. Her beloved grandchildren, Blayne Johnson and Aidan Forsythe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John R and Juanita Spitts, a brother, John Eric Spitts and a sister Denise Palmer.
