Diane Lynn Edgell Mayle Skidmore, 58 of Clarksburg, passed away Friday, February 4, 2011 at Saint Francis Hospital, Charleston, WV. She was born November 16, 1952 in Clarksburg, daughter of the late Theodore and Virginia McGary Edgell. Diane was a homemaker and worked at Wendy’s for several years. Surviving is her husband, Joseph Skidmore; three daughters, Regina Canaday and companion Howard Smith, Clarksburg, Dreama Matos and husband Jose, Aberdeen, MD, and Ranae Mayle, Clarksburg; one son, Ronald Mayle Jr and companion Jannettea Isabell, Stonewood; one stepdaughter, Connie Lackey and husband Jeff, Cheyenne Wyoming; twelve grandchildren; one great grandson; two sisters, Luella Wolford, Clarksburg and Betty Lott, Parkersburg; one brother, Richard Edgell, Clarksburg and one sister-in-law, Cathy Edgell, Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, James Edgell; one granddaughter, Richella Diane Mayle. She loved to crochet, watch Days of our lives, Elvis Presley’s # 1 fan, spending time with family and her three dogs, Nikki, Sammy, and Peanut.
