Diane Inman Waters died on April 28, 2022 in Colorado Springs, CO from heart failure after a long series of health issues at the age of 67 years old. She was born at Fort Carson (when it was known as Camp Carson!) on July 6, 1954 to Robert R. Inman and Barbara A. Inman (both deceased). Diane was an Air Force brat and spent the vast majority of her childhood years traveling around the world, including to Germany, Japan, Washington D.C., and Thailand. In her twenties, she spent several years in Kansas City, Missouri, working as a proud employee of the GM auto plant out there before finally returning to where she would spend the rest of her life, Colorado Springs.
Diane was very wise and intelligent and had a keen, sharp wit with a healthy dose of sarcasm. She became known as the Queen of Sarcasm and could make others laugh with her sharp insights on the world. Her son, Michael Inman (who survives her), meant everything to her, and they enjoyed a close relationship throughout the years. Although she suffered from various ailments, disabilities, and illnesses throughout her adult years, she did her best to carry on through it all and live her life on her terms. She loved dogs, disco and old-school country music, and Christmas.
Survivors include her son, Michael Inman; her brother, William R. Inman; a niece, Debbie Olvera, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
