Diane Dolores Robertson peacefully, but unexpectedly went to be with our Lord on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the age of 81 years and who was born on September 13, 1940.
Predeceased by her father, William Beatie, her mother Veronica McPartland Beattie and five brothers and sisters, Marilyn, Dorothy, William Jr, Edward, and Donald. And the family Diane grew up with: Jim & Dolores Johnson and “sisters” Cherilyn Nicholson (George) and Jamie Lynaugh (John) and Grandmother Marie Berry with whom Diane spent each summer at the beach (Breezy Point, NY) for many years.
Survived by Dennis her loving husband of 57 years. Lovingly remembered by three children, Tom Robertson (Suzy), Erin Melton (Mark) and John Robertson (Stephen), five grandchildren, Hollyn, Luke, Claire, Ryan and John Thomas and many friends and neighbors.
Diane was of Irish Catholic descent with three of her grandparents being born in Ireland. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and was always very proud of her heritage and background. Diane was a loving and caring individual and consistently giving of herself to her family, friends and Catholic faith. Other things she loved were traveling to many destinations with husband & family, any beach were she could “get her toes in the sand”, spoiling her “Grands”, serving as an EM at church, spending time with her girlfriends having lunch or playing cards/games and other fun things.
