Diane Beatrice Molnar, 77, died Sunday, August 1, 2021 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Diane was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on February 16, 1944 daughter of Forrest A. and Beatrice (Poinsett) Blakesley. She grew up in Vineland, New Jersey where she graduated in 1961 from Vineland High School. Diane then earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Glassboro State College (Now known as Rowan University) in Glassboro, New Jersey graduating with the class of 1968. She enjoyed a long career as a school teacher in the Vineland area, teaching various grades throughout the years, retiring after 31 years in 1999.

Diane married Gary G. Molnar on June 22, 1968 in Vineland, New Jersey. They were lovingly devoted to each other for over 53 years. They made their home in Vineland for most of their marriage, moving south in 2010 to enjoy their retirement in the warmer climate of Salisbury, North Carolina.

Diane is survived by her husband, Gary of Salisbury, NC; her son Scott (Amy) Blakesley of Waterloo, Iowa; two grandchildren, Noah (Adeline) Blakesley of North Canton, Ohio and Gabrielle (Derek) Skiles of Waterloo, Iowa; her sister-in-law, Jean Blakesley of Allentown, Pennsylvania; her niece Debra (John) Daniels of Allentown, Pennsylvania; her brother-in-law Richard (Barbara) Molnar of Vineland, New Jersey; and her nephews Jeff, Matt and Brett Molnar.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her brother Forrest A. Blakesley Jr.

Diane loved animals very much. She and Gary enjoyed life with their many dogs and cats through the years.

Diane will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
