Diana R. (Snyder) Wolfe, 77, of Kingwood, WV, died on Thursday, December 15, 2016, at Preston Memorial Hospital.
Diana was born May 6, 1939, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Blake and Madeline (Thrasher) Snyder.
She retired from the Preston County Board of Education after working as a cook for over 30 years in various schools throughout the county, the last being at Preston High School. Diana was an avid bowler; she enjoyed reading and volunteering for multiple school and extracurricular activities for her children. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Patrick D. Wolfe Sr.; her children Tina Wolfe Schmidl (Joe), Lisa Lewis (Tom), Patrick D. Wolfe Jr. (Les) and Tonya L. Wolfe, all of Kingwood; one sister, Linda Wiles (Terry), of Albright; grandchildren, Patrick D. Wolfe III, Joshua A. Wolfe, Tommy Lewis, Matthew Lewis, Joseph P. Schmidl II, Alexis R, Schmidl and G. Duke Wolfe, all of Kingwood, Justin Lewis (Amy) of Morgantown; two great-grandchildren, Jordan Wolfe and Mason Lewis: several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell Snyder and Robert Snyder.
Friends will be received at Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel on Sunday, December 18, 2016, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.; on Monday, December 19, 2016, from 10:00 a.m.
