Diana Ruth Kincaid, 73, of Galesburg, died at 5:23 a.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at home after a battle with cancer.Diana was born May 29, 1945 in Galesburg, the daughter of Charles Lester and Marion Rogene (Calhoun) Forshee. She married James Frank Kincaid on May 9, 1962 in Abingdon. He preceded her in death in 1988.
Diana is survived by two sons, Charlie (Misty) Kincaid of Peoria and Daniel Kincaid of Galesburg; one daughter, Lisa VanSwearingen of Galesburg; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Jamie, Misty, and Amber VanSwearingen, Ben and Randy Swearingen, and Austin Kincaid; and seven great grandchildren. Diana is also survived by one brother, Lester “Eldon” (Karen) Forshee of Galesburg; and one sister, Donna Bicknell of Galesburg.
Along with her parents and husband, Diana was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Kincaid, three sisters, and one brother.Diana was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her family and friends. She also enjoyed playing bingo.
