HAVERHILL – Diana P. Melendy, 84, lifelong resident of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at home with family by her side.
Diana was born on January 26, 1936, daughter of Santo and Frances (Palermo) Gucciardi. She was raised in Haverhill and graduated from Haverhill High School, class of 1954. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon (Max) and her son Robert (Bob). Diana is survived by her daughter Karen Iacozzi and husband Vincent of Atkinson, NH, daughter Diane Goodman and husband Eric of Hampton, NH and four grandchildren Christopher, Carina, Francesca and Cameron.
Diana worked for and retired from the Haverhill Public School district where she was personal secretary to the Superintendent for 40 years. She was an active member of the Haverhill Women’s club and a lifelong member of Saint Rita’s and All Saints Parish. After retirement she dedicated herself to family and friends.
