Lady Di says “Life is short, lets smell the roses!”
Diana was born to Daisy Mae Secord
and Milard “Whitey” Secord on February 28, 1947.

She was such an Amazing woman,
so strong, the strongest woman we knew!
She was full of life and love and shared it well with the
ones she loved. She was very caring, giving, and SO
Beautiful, and will be so dearly missed by the ones
that Loves her. She LOVED coffee, crazy daises, a petite
filet from Texas Roadhouse, the color purple, planting
her garden with her very special grandson Lil’ Man. She
enjoyed being outdoors, LOVED yard sales, flea markets,
taking 2 weeks off for Morel Mushroom hunting. She was
always the one to find the First Mushroom. She loved good
Ol Country Music (and some Rock), and loved to dance, and
enjoyed a Salty Dog every now and then. She enjoyed

She was a MOPAR Momma! She had a GREAT sense
of humor and loved to laugh!

She gave birth in 1964 to her son Robert Lee Owen,
and then again in 1966 to her daughter Catherine
Ann Krumreich who is married to David Krumreich.
Cathy made her a grandmother at 35 years old to Misty Michelle
Bemis, who is married to Travis Bemis. And if you ever
had any questions about anything you could ALWAYS
ask Mamaw! Then 20 years later, Robbie blessed her
with Robert, “Lil’ Man” Owen II. Misty Bemis give her
the opportunity to enjoy being a Great Grandmother to
Braylon Reedy in 2004.

Diana was an amazing woman to our society. She had
many jobs through the years. As young girl girl she worked
at the Goodie Shop. She worked as a Teller at First National
Bank for many years, worked in the mortgage department
at Valley Bank, at the License Branch, and most recently
as a title clerk at J.D Byryder.

Unfortunately the Lord took our young at heart Diana
suddenly, and unexpecdently on March 17th, 2011
at 2:37p.m. She has went to be in heaven with her peach,
Jim “Capt’n” McCurdy and her Momma Daisy Mae.
