Kay Smith, 74, of Markleville, passed away on January 15, 2015 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. She was born on December 18, 1940 to LeRoy and Florence (Stone) Richardson in Anderson, and resided in Markleville.
Kay worked at several retail stores and cleaned houses. She enjoyed gardening, taking care of her cats, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Kay is survived by her daughter, Connie (Billy) Boyer; son, Roger Fischer; son, Brian Fish; brothers, Don (Joyce) Richardson and John (Betty) Richardson; sisters, Joyce (Kenny) Qualls, Joan (Dwight) Barr and Donna Durham, grandchildren, Ashley and Jamie Fischer, a great-grandson due in May, Todd Lewis, Jaylen and Tylee.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Florence McMahon; father, LeRoy Richardson; sister, Alice Branch; and brother, Tom Richardson.
