He is survived by his three children, Melinda Shipley and her husband, Charles; Dewey White, Jr. and his wife, Brenda; James White and his wife, Lisa; his grandchildren, Amber, Charles, Elizabeth, Anthony, Marlena, Kristen, Alicia, Matthew, Stacey and Sarah; his great-grandchildren, Shana, Sara, Zachary and Cameron.
