He was preceded in death by parents, Deward Spiers and Mary Yvonne Spiers; sister, Vondell Bowden and Paulette Rivero; brother, William Spiers.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Amber Spiers (Thomas) Knight and Anna Rebecca (Ron) Allen; grandchildren, Annabeth Yvonne Whitehead and, Justice Elijah Spiers-Hoyle.
