DeVon Lynette Albea Kinsler earned her wings on March 15, 2023. She was born March 24, 1989, in High Point, North Carolina to the now late Tuwannia Lynn Albea and Andre’ Kinsler.
DeVon, a Guilford County native graduated from High Point Central High School, class of 2007. She also graduated from Brookstone Institute and obtained her license as a phlebotomist. She was active in various clubs and activities at Central High. She became a great team mom for her son’s football team. She made sure they had snacks as well as rides to games far and near and back home.
DeVon had a contagious smile that made you smile whenever you were in her presence. A kindhearted person, she was a help wherever help was needed. DeVon was a faithful member of Solid Rock Baptist Church until her health declined and also loved being a member of The Sister Circle.
In addition to her mother, grandparents, Nannie Bell Weeks Albea, Herbert Lee Albea, Jr., William Thompson, Roosevelt and Linda Kinsler; two uncles, Derek Q. Albea and Jerod Kinsler preceded her in death.
She is survived by her dear son, Jayeir Albea Kinsler; the love of her life, Jamar Tillman; brother, DeWan Albea Kinsler; God brother, Ricky Armstrong; God sisters, Crystal Morris, Ashley Little, and Lalisa Tillman; God kids, Madison and Matthew Drawthron; aunts, Crystal Henderson (Lee), Beverly Little Knorr (Ted), Donna Williams (Mike) and Willa Glover (Marlon); uncles, Tyrone Payne (Michelle), Anthony Albea, Kee Kee Albea, and Ruby Garrett; a host of cousins and friends.
