Detlef “Doug” BoerschingerAge 56 of Owosso passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Memorial Healthcare.Detlef was born July 31, 1963 in Berlin, the son of Dennis and Ingeberg Boerschinger.He graduated from Owosso High School. Detlef proudly served in the United States Army for three years.He married Kathleen Ann Tate in Warren, Michigan on September 27, 1997.Detlef spent his years working in construction as a roofer. Detlef is survived by his wife Kathleen; step-daughters Tonya Goad, Toya Andrews, Amanda Goad and Casey Goad; step-son Kenny Goad; sisters Alice Davidson, Lisa Williams and Inge McClellan; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many other loving family and friends.He was predeceased by his son Jacob Zemla; his parents; sisters Rose Schautz, Inga Callahan and Barbie Mullins and brother Charles Davidson.Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.A Memorial Service with full Military Honors will be held at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery.
