Mrs. Derotha Shaver, age 71, of Mary Esther, FL passed away peacefully on August 3, 2009 at her home with her family and friends by her side.
Mrs. Shaver was preceded in death by her husband Mr. William D. Shaver.
She is survived by Sons: Jonathan Shaver, Mark Shaver, both of Mary Esther. Daughter: April Audet of Fort Walton Beach, 2 grandchildren Garret and Jaden Audet of Fort Walton Beach.
Derotha was born in Troy AL to Charles T. and Mary Alice Lowery Bowers.
She moved to Mary Esther in 1973 and was a school teacher at Oakland Heights Elementary and also taught Adult Education at OWCC. She also loved to sew, loved pottery and ceramics. Loved her children and especially her grandchildren.
