Derek Michael Mentzer, 56, of Oxnard, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at St. John Regional Medical Ctr following a long illness.
He was born May 15, 1966, in Canoga Park, California and had been a Ventura County resident for 21 years.
Derek is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Cecelia Marie Mentzer; mother, Virginia Hensley; brother, Brian Mentzer; sister Kimberly North; and his beloved fur baby and faithful companion , Rachael Marie.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
