Derek J. Koval, 43, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, November 7, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Andrea (Novak) Koval with whom he shared over 13 years of loving marriage. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Joseph and Christine (Yaniga) Koval. Derek was a graduate of Parkland High School, class of 1997 and went on to graduate from Kutztown University, class of 2003. He worked for Giant food store for over 20 years and as Bakery Manager for 11 years. Derek enjoyed fantasy football, weight lifting and handiwork with his father. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers fan.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Andrea and parents Joseph and Christine, he will be remembered by his children Parker Christman of Northampton, Jackson Koval, Madison Koval, Breana Koval and Sloane Koval all of Whitehall; brother Joseph Koval and his wife Jayma of Atlanta, GA; father in law Joseph Novak and wife of Bethlehem and Mother in law Izabela Novak of Allentown and many loving nieces and nephews.
