Mr. Corbin died Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at his home in Belton.
Mr. Corbin was born August 3, 1925 in Wolf, Oklahoma, the son of Ernest and Edith (Roach) Corbin. He married Betty Barton in June 1946 in El Reno, Oklahoma. Mr. Corbin was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a graduate of the University of Tulsa and the University of Oklahoma. He worked as an electrical engineer of Exxon until retiring in 1986. He was a former member of the Salado Lions Club and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Belton.
Survivors include his wife Betty Corbin of Belton; three sons Charles Corbin of Temple, David Corbin of Sugar Land and Tom Corbin of Georgetown; one daughter Mary Corbin of Houston; one sister Julia Commons of Grass Valley, California; two grandchildren, Christopher and Jeffery and two great grandchildren John Christopher and Isabell Grace.
