Dennis Ziesman, age 65, of Swea City, died on Saturday July 4, 2015 at the Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona. Dennis Ray Ziesman, the son of Herbert Ray and Rita (Zuetlau) Ziesman, was born on November 12, 1949 in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Dennis had worked as carpenter in the Algona area and in California from 1986 until 1996 when he moved back to Algona. He had been a member of the VFW Post #2541 in Algona.
Dennis is survived by his children, Chad Ziesman, Heidi Trvjillo and Deanna (Brian) Leyn all of California; five grandchildren; his mother, Rita Ziesman of Algona; three brothers, Terry (LeeAnn) Ziesman of Lotts Creek, Scott (Laura) Ziesman of Algona and Craig Ziesman of Phoenix, AZ; and a sister, Kristine (John) Wagner of Algona. He was preceded in death by his father.
