Dennis W. Byers, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Community Hospital North. He was born February 22, 1950, in Lafayette to Ralph “Dick” Byers of West Lafayette and the late Gloria Delcie Westfall Byers.
Dennis graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School and Valparaiso University. On August 22, 1987, he married Catherine Ricci in Indianapolis. Dennis was a life-long Insurance Professional.
Surviving along with his wife are his daughter, Jennifer Erin Lee of Warner Robbins, GA, and grandson, Zachary Lee. Also surviving are his sisters, Debbie (Phil) Newkirk of Ft. Myers, FL, Colleen Banes of Lafayette, and Pam (Keith) Reifke of Homer Glen, IL. Dennis was preceded in death by his brother Eddie.
