Dennis W. Bacon, 68, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022.
He is a beloved son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather ”Papa”.
He is survived by his daughter Jamie E. Bacon, his grandson Gavin Lund, one sister, and 2 brothers.
At the age of 18, he met and married the love of his life, Mina A Bacon (Elkin), who also passed away just over a year ago. His love for her was still so strong, all the way up till he got sick.
He was a beer guy and most knew him by his blogger name, Dwayne Glasscock of BaddAssBeers on many of the social media platforms.
He has left an imprint on each person he met, whether they chatted or just overheard one of his comments or a story. He was a force of nature but in his own quiet sort of way.
He joined the Army but shortly after was medically discharged due to a heart murmur. He worked in machine shops for most of his life and was a foreman for 20 years.
