Dennis Ray Smith, age 73, resident of Chunchula, AL departed this life on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at his home.
Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his father; Ray Mashburn Smith, mother; Virginia Malin Smith, and brother; Edgar Hall Smith. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Minnie Sullivan Smith, three sons; Joey Bowden Sr., Houston Sanders, and Tommy (Kristie) Sanders; three daughters; Wendy Baria, Kim (Joe) Sullivan, and Kay Van Etten, one sister; Nancy Smith, one brother; Danny (Pam) Smith, 32 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
Dennis retired from the Coast Guard in Mobile, AL and also from Mississippi Departement of Corrections in Leaksville, MS.
